Rates at Pumulani
Pumulani will open on the shores of Lake Malawi on 1 July 2008. Our prices include full board, road transfers to and from Club Makokola airstrip, laundry and drinks at our bar.
Also included in our rates are non-motorised watersports – snorkelling, fishing, sailing and kayaking – plus nature walks, village walks and sunset cruises on our traditional wooden dhow.
All prices are per person per night and quoted in US dollars. International airport taxes, scuba diving, picnic tours and motorised watersports (waterskiing, wakeboarding, fun tube) are not included.

Special offer 2008
During the 2008 high season we are able to offer a reduced rate of US$390 per night for stays of four nights or more. Please contact us to take advantage of this special price.
Transfers
Air transfers are by private charter. Prices are per person each way, based on a minimum of two people travelling.

Road transfers to the lodge from Club Makokola airstrip take approximately 45 minutes and are included in the rate. Transfers by luxury speedboat are available on request and cost US$250 each way. These are weather dependent. All rates are subject to change.
Terms and conditions
- A deposit of 25% is required to confirm a booking. Payment must be made in full at least 30 days prior to arrival. A provisional booking will be held for 14 days and then must be confirmed or released.
- Cancellation costs: 31 - 90 days, 25%, 0 - 30 days, 100%.
- Payments for extras can be made in cash (US$, Euros or Malawi Kwacha) or by credit card (Visa only).
Tipping
Tipping is not compulsory but welcome if guests are happy with the service. Please give tips to the lodge management to be shared amongst our staff. As a guide, we recommend a total of US$7.50 per person per day.
